Notifications: CBIC has notified that e-invoicing shall be mandatory for all assesses having turnover more than 10 crores in any financial year from 2017-18 to 2021-22. E-invoicing will be effective from 1st October 2022.
What is E-Invoice?: E-Invoicing is the process of uploading all your B2B transactions (Sales, Credit Note and Debit Notes made to businesses, including all types of exports) on the IRP (invoice registration portal) for authentication. Once authenticated, the IRP will issue a unique IRN (Invoice reference number) for every invoice. A QR code will be added to the invoice along with the IRN.
E-Invoicing report: E-Invoicing reports is a system that allows the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) to authenticate B2B invoices electronically. Accordingly, TallyPrime provides you a smooth experience to configure/generate e-Invoices for your business. Once your e-invoice is ready, the details should be reflected in GSTR-1.
Digital Signature: The facility of digital signature in TallyPrime help you digitally sign and authenticate your documents with great ease. It secures your document from tampering, impersonation, and repudiation.
Edit Log: TallyPrime allows you to keep a trail of each activity performed in transactions and masters to help you have a better internal control over your Company data.

E-Invoicing Sandbox Trial Portal: If you are a GST-registered dealer eligible for e-Invoicing, then the e-Invoice Sandbox portal, also known as the e-Invoice trial portal, will enable you to experience e-Invoicing using TallyPrime before you go on to generate e-Invoice on the live Invoice Registration Portal (IRP).
