How to Create Stock Groups And Items in Tally Prime

Stock Groups

Gateway of Tally > Create > Master Creation (stock group) > Type the name of Products > Should Quantities of Item be added – Yes select the main stock group of Primary (update sub type of Products)

Press Ctrl + A to Save and Create the Stock Groups

Sub Group

   Gateway of Tally > Create > Master Creation (stock group) > Type the name of Products > select the Sub group > Yes

Press Ctrl + A to Save and Create the Sub Groups

Stock Items

Gateway of Tally > Create > Master Creation (Stock item) > Type the Name of Stock Item > Select the group under the Stock > Alt + C (Unit Creation) > Mention all Details (Type , Symbol , formal name ) Press Enter &  Accept

Press Ctrl + A to Save and Create the Stock Item

 Unit and Measure

Gateway Of Tally > Create > Master Creation (stock item) > Name > Enter > Units  Alt + C > Unite Creation (secondary) Mention all Details (Type , Symbol , formal name , Unit quantity Coad (UQC) Enter    

Press Ctrl + A to Save and Create the Unit and Measure
